Today's six comes from Search Me, the third book in the Cover Me series. Those who've read Cover Me may remember Nick and Andrew (who also appeared as secondary characters in Trust Me) falling in love in between saving each other's hides.
Well, sad to say, all is not well for the boys...
“We have talked. And we’ve argued. And we’ve…” Shaking his head, Nick put the carton aside and turned to me. God, his eyes looked so tired, and his voice was heavy with fatigue as he spoke again. “How much longer do we keep doing this before we realize we’re more miserable than we are happy?”
