Six Sentence Sunday

First things first, in celebration of my 20th book release, I'm holding a contest in which one lucky commenter could win my entire backlist. No, seriously. Check it out.

With that out of the way, Six Sentence Sunday is back for more...

This week, from L. A. Witt, six more sentences from my current work-in-progress, Conduct Unbecoming, a M/M contemporary milrom set on Okinawa:

Just…just one more kiss. One more minute. Maybe two.

It must have been at least ten minutes before we finally pulled ourselves apart enough to make an effort to leave the club. Maybe longer than that. The ice had melted in my neglected drink, but for all I knew, that was just from being in such close proximity to the two of us.

Want to play along? It’s fun and easy!
1. pick a project – a current WIP, contracted work or even something readers can buy if you’re published
2. pick six sentences
3. post ‘em on Sunday

  1. Oh, hot steamy six, I love the comparison of the ice in her glass. Fantastic six. Thank you.

  2. Her? LOL, someone wasn't paying attention.

I love the desperation in this. Definitely get the sense of their relationship being addictive in spite of (or possibly because of) the wrongness.

    Can't wait to read more.
