I exhaled and stared up at the ceiling. For a one night stand, Eric had certainly parked himself in my consciousness. Another day or two and maybe I’d shake him completely so I could get on with my life without thinking about how much I wanted to have him naked and panting in my bed again, but so far, no dice.
My e-mail pinged, drawing me back into the present. When I looked at my inbox, I gritted my teeth at the sight of my ex-wife’s name. Now wasn’t that just a cold bucket of water over my good, if slightly distracted, mood?

I like the rhythm of his internal dialogue, I related straight away and too want to see Eric naked and panting! Thank you for a great six!
