Six Sentence Sunday - The Closer You Get

More Six Sentence Sunday!

Today, one last nibble from my upcoming release,
The Closer You Get, which is the sequel to The Distance Between Us:
I was a little surprised that he’d caught my eye. By all rights, he should have blended into the background. From the way he dressed to the way he moved, he was…subdued. He wasn’t unattractive by any means, but there was nothing flashy about him, and anything that didn’t flash or glitter didn’t stand out here.

Walking between guys who danced under the heavy shadows and bright, flickering disco lights, in a crowd of men who’d all dressed specifically to stand out and show off, Alex brought to mind a black cat prowling through a flock of peacocks. His surroundings nearly made him invisible, but he was still undeniably there.
The Closer You Get is NOW AVAILABLE for Pre-Order from Samhain Publishing, and will be out November 15th!

Want to play along? It’s fun and easy!
1. pick a project – a current WIP, contracted work or even something readers can buy if you’re published

  3. Do we need to read the first book to read this one? It doesn't seem like it, but I thought I would ask.

  4. Adara -- They can be read on their own, but you might get a better feel for Kieran if you read book 1. :)
