Re-Releasing Some Older Titles

For the past few months, I've been working on re-releasing some older titles that went out of print in 2013. I've posted about some of them, and others have just sort of been quietly released because I didn't want to saturate Twitter of my blog with "this one's available now too!" That and I was still working out all the self-publishing bugs. I'm still working out a few, so bear with me a little, but now that the majority of the books have been re-released, here they are:

From L.A. Witt...

The Cover Me Trilogy is available as a boxed set or as individual titles.

Also recently released: (Click on the covers for buy links)

Changing Plans is a collection containing the novellas Getting off the Ground, Infinity Pools, and On The List.

From Lauren Gallagher:

Please note that World Enough and Time was previously published as Until It's Over.

Light Switch & Reconstructing Meredith are available individually or as a boxed set called Wanting Moore.

NOW AVAILABLE: Changing Plans

The Changing Plans trilogy has been re-released! This book contains the previously published novellas Getting off the Ground, Infinity Pools, and On The List, and is available from AmazonAllRomanceBarnes & Noble, and Kobo

Part I: Getting off the Ground
After being stood up at the altar, compulsive over-planner Elliott Chandler decides to turn his honeymoon on Oahu into a vacation for one. Fate puts a hitch in his plans, however, when the airport is snowed in and his flight is delayed.
In the terminal, the jilted groom catches the eye of another stranded traveler: the laidback and very sexy Derek Windsor. Derek breaks the ice and strikes up a conversation, and as the temperature drops outside, the heat between them rises. Pity they’re both going to different islands, but if their flight doesn’t get off the ground fast, Mr. Calm-and-Cool may just tempt Mr. Play-It-Safe into doing something reckless.
And that plane isn’t going anywhere any time soon…

What reviewers have said about Changing Plans:

Getting off the Ground:  "This is the first book by L.A. Witt I have read and she does live up to her reputation for hot sex scenes and well-developed characters. This is a fun, quick read that I think most readers of m/m romance will enjoy."  Dark Divas Reviews, 4 out of 5 Divas
Infinity Pools: "For those who read and liked Getting Off the Ground this is an absolute must-read and I'm giving it a grade of 'Excellent'." Well-Read Jenre
"Set in lush, beautiful Hawaii, the 50th state almost steals the show in this story about finding love again."  Lasha, Jessewave Reviews, 4 out of 5 stars

On The List:   "Those readers who enjoyed the previous two books won’t be disappointed with this one and if you’ve not read any of the books in this series so far, then I’d recommend that you [...] buy them up."  Jenre at Brief Encounters Reviews, "B" rating

Graphics and Stuff

You may have noticed that the banner on top of this blog keeps changing. I'm rather enjoying my new little catchphrase, "Abnormal Romance Author", and in between working on various projects, I've been playing with new banners. (Graphic design relaxes me, and I have needed it lately like you wouldn't believe) So, expect to see the banner changing fairly frequently until I finally settle on one I like.

Anyway, in between changing banners like they're Kleenex, I'm hard at work on a few upcoming projects. I should have some announcements fairly soon about some releases.

And speaking of releases, Disengaged and Ex Equals will both be out in September, along with Changing Plans (the combined paperback of Getting off the Ground, Infinity Pools, and On The List), so expect some contests and giveaways soon.

Also, the official release date for A Chip In His Shoulder is November 14th. Since The Closer You Get comes out the next day, I'm plotting and scheming some sort of contest/giveaway around that date. Keep an eye on this blog for more info!

Now back to trying to make a banner that works in between outlining my next story...

NOW AVAILABLE: On The List

Book #3 of the Changing Plans series, On The List, is now available from Amber Allure. Additional links to come. (Also available: books #1 and #2 -- Getting off the Ground and Infinity Pools)

(Contains SPOILERS for books #1 and #2!)

In spite of swearing up and down he’s a bachelor forever, Derek Windsor is ready to settle down with Elliott Chandler. After a long distance relationship and a few months of wedding planning, it all comes down to this weekend: a wedding on the Washington coast, then they can start their life together on Maui.

But with the ceremony just days away, Derek’s family drops the bomb: they aren’t coming. They refuse to support or be a part of his marriage to another man. All his life, he’s ached for his parents’ approval, and their last-minute wedding snub leaves him reeling. Though he doesn’t question his love for Elliott, can Derek still go through with a wedding that could irreparably sever his relationship with his family?

Six Sentence Sunday - On The List

Six Sentence Sunday is back for more...

This week, from L. A. Witt, a nibble of On The List, which comes out today from Amber Allure. This is the third and final book in the Changing Plans series (the previous books are Getting off the Ground and Infinity Pools).

Derek's parents have dropped the bomb that they're not coming to his and Elliott's wedding:

If anything, instead of bringing him into the family, tomorrow would signify a greater divide between them and me. Like I was marrying out of my own family.

I wanted to tell myself I’d never have second thoughts about marrying Elliott, but here I was, in the eleventh hour, with the reality of my parents’ rejection sinking in fast. It shouldn’t have mattered—these were their issues, not mine—but it did. It mattered, and it hurt.

Here it was, the night before the wedding I never thought I’d have, and I’d never felt more alone in my life.

Want to play along? It’s fun and easy!
1. pick a project – a current WIP, contracted work or even something readers can buy if you’re published
2. pick six sentences
3. post ‘em on Sunday

Ridiculously Easy Contest #2 - Two books/One winner

I've got another new release coming up in the next few days, so it's time for another Ridiculously Easy Contest(tm)!

Want to win a free book? Of course you do. Who doesn't? In fact, I'm going to let you win two books because that's how I roll. And since I like things simple, we're going to keep this uber-simple. Answer a question, win a book. That's it.

HOW TO WIN: Leave a comment with an answer to the poll question.

WINNERS WILL BE DRAWN: May 5, 2011

THE PRIZE: An electronic copy of Infinity Pools, my new release from Amber Allure, which comes out on May 1. And since it's the sequel to Getting off the Ground, what fun would it be if I didn't include that book too?
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!

If there are at least 15 legitimate, non-anonymous responses to the question, I will also draw a name for a signed paperback copy of your choice from my print backlist (OR) a signed copy of Changing Plans, which is the paperback edition of both Getting off the Ground and Infinity Pools. This edition will be out sometime in June, so be aware that if you choose that book, it'll be a month or two before it reaches you.

(note on anonymous posts: I don't mind anonymous settings, but there needs to be a name in the text of the comment at least!)

THE QUESTION:

How many roads must a man walk down-- wait, sorry.

Okay, the real question:

What is your favorite romance subgenre?
(BDSM? Fantasy? Suspense/Thrillers? Or...?)

See? Told you it was easy.

Want to be notified of future stupidly easy and ridiculously simple contests? Join my Yahoo Group.

Winners will be randomly drawn and posted on May 5, 2011, and have 72 hours to contact me to claim their prize.

Good luck!

NOW AVAILABLE: Getting off the Ground

Getting off the Ground is now available for purchase from Amber Quill Press. More links to be added as they're available.
Keep an eye out for the sequel, Infinity Pools, which will be released in May.
And for those of you who prefer printed books, both titles will be available in June as Changing Plans, a combined paperback edition:
Go forth, and enjoy! :D

Brief Update

Apologies for the lack of entries lately! I've been up to my ears in finishing a few projects, not to mention starting a few, and my parents are in town right now. I expect to have some pictures up from our island adventures, probably tomorrow, but for now, I'm calling it a night.

In the next few months, expect a lot of updates relating to book releases.

This is what's coming down the pipe between now and the end of June:
  • With the Band, March 22
  • Getting off the Ground, April 3
  • Nine-tenths of the Law (paperback), April 5
  • Infinity Pools, May 1
  • Denied (short story), May 15
  • A.J.'s Angel, May 31
  • The Distance Between Us (paperback), June 7
  • Damaged Goods, June 14
  • Static, June 26
  • Changing Plans (paperback), June 25 (tent.)
Needless to say, it's going to be crazy over the next few months! Anyway, bear with me for the next week or so, and I'll be back to regular postings. Lots of exciting stuff coming up, so stick around...
